Garrido - Hybrid barback pad
A bareback pad/hybrid that promotes the rider's vertical seat!
The pad has a stable construction entirely in leather without any front iron.
It has a medium wide/wide waist and a built up seat so that the legs can hang straight down from the hip and give the rider an upright/neutral seat without ending up in back weight. The rear part of the seat expands quickly and is wide enough that your sit bones are well supported and you find a comfortable and correct seat with balance between sit bones and pubic bones. With relativly thin flaps, it gives you an incredibly close contact. Suitable for riders with a normal to slightly wider hip angle.
This model has pressure-relieving velcro panels.
Since the Hybrid has stirrup cramps for the use of stirrup leather, it is recommended to use a Grandeur Standard pad underneath for extra pressure relief.
For the use of stirrups, a balanced rider is required. Not to be used for mounting
The pad is suitable for all horse types. It has good wither freedom and works for a normal to medium high wither, for higher/more marked withers we recommend using a wedge-shaped front riser insert in the Grandeur pad to lift the front.
