Finally a bareback pad that really promotes the rider's vertical seat!
The pad has a narrow and built-up seat/waist so that the legs can hang straight down from the hip and give the rider a vertical / neutral seat without falling into the back weight. This pad is the best option for riders with a narrow hipangle.
The rear part of the seat is so wide that your seat bones receive good support and you find a comfortable and correct seat with balance between seat legs and pubic legs. With only 5 mm thin covers it gives you a very close contact.
The seat and panels on this bareback pad are filled with a recycled textile fibermix. The stuffed panels also form a small channel for the spine. If the horse is very roof-shaped or unmusceled, the pad can be used with a grandeur underlay with inserts to create a wider chanel.

The Dressage 1 model has a harder filling than the Dressage II. However, this gives the pad something more firmness. The padding adapts to you and your horse's anatomy, this may take a couple of rides. The pad is restuffable and can be adjusted if necessary. For those who want a softer seat, you can stuff with a softer padding (you can do this yourself or leave it to a saddler)
The pad is suitable for all horse types. The pad has good wither freedom and works for a small to medium high wither, at higher withers we recommend a Grandeur Standard saddlepad with a pocket for inlays to get a lift in the front.
Especially on horses with really wide backs, the rider benefits from the raised seat and waist which makes the hips relaxed and the rider does not have to sit in the seat.
This pad is suitable for riders who need a narrower waist and has a narrow pelvis different from the Pro models which suits riders who require a wider waist.
The upper is made of high-quality microfiber velor that provides good grip. This durable fabric is breathable, water resistant. (The pad is not washable in the machine but the outer fabric can be rinsed easily with water) The underside is made of syntetic wool felt.
