Another fantastic bareback pad from La Bona that really promotes the rider's vertical seat!
La Bona Pro is designed in a stylish and classic dressage model.
The pad has a built-up seat/waist so that the legs can hang straight down from the hip, giving the rider a vertical / neutral seat without falling into back weight. The rear part of the seat is so wide that your seat legs receive good support and you find a comfortable and correct seat with balance between seat legs and pubic legs. With only 6-7 mm thin covers it gives you a very close contact.
The upper is made of high quality calfskin. The seat has extra layer of soft latex padding. Seat and panels are filled with synthetic wool. You can also adjust the padding by adding or removing where needed through two openings on the bottom of the boss. The wool-stuffed bosses also form a channel for the spine. The Pro Pad has a wider channel than the Dressage model. The padding adapts to your and your horse's anatomy, but this can take a couple of rides.
The Pro padd has god freedom for the wither and works for a small to medium withers, for really high / long withers we recommend a Grandeur underlay with a pocket for inlays to get a lift in the front.
The pad is suitable for all horse types, for horses that are roof-shaped and unmuscled, and for horses with very wide backs.
Especially on horses with really wide backs, the rider benefits from the raised seat and waist which makes the hips relaxed and the rider does not have to sit in the chair seat.
This pad is suitable for riders who need a wider waist differentiation from the Dressage models that fit riders with narrow pelvis.
