OMEGA Dressage Riding Pad
A new updated modell from German Signum's former Freedom bareback pad!
The dressage model has a rear cantel just like on an English dressage saddle, which provides additional support for the rider's seat. This is the only difference between the two models.
The pad can adapt itself even to horses with a more curved back or with a pronounced withers and prevents punctual pressure peaks. The V-girth straps starts below the spine so that it is relieved. The new straps are now made of durable Biotane material.
The seat is bit upbuilt that helps the rider to not sit to wide. ( this updated modell has a more narrow waist then prevoius first Freedom pads)
But for rely wide horses and riders with very narrow hips we instead recomend the La bona Dressage 1 or 2 modells.
Big soft comfort knee blocks that gives great support, together with the non-slip suede surface, by this the rider is given a rely secure feeling.
The underside of the OMEGA Innovation Riding Pad is made of easy-care synthetic felt. We recommend using a stabile saddle pad or a correction pad as Grandeur Standard for everyday use.
On the synthetic felt, it is also possible to attach velcro panels.
When you as a rider need to sit a bit more narrow, Deuber & Partners Espaniola saddles panels works very nice on the Omega pads.
You can also cut out inserts/inlays that are narrower in the middle and add, for example, a Grandeur pad or half pad. When using inlays, think about building on the height and not on the width to make it narrower for the rider.
The Omega's panels work very well on narrower and normal wide horses, if it feels to wide for the rider put the panles further to the front, it helps a lot, to not build material under the riders legs.
With all three solutions, a channel is also created that gives freedom for the spine.
